According to Главком: On July 3, Russian forces launched an attack using guided aerial bombs against civilian infrastructure in the city of Zaporizhzhia. The strike hit a residential neighborhood, damaging a two-story apartment building and an educational facility, which suffered broken windows, a damaged facade, and interior destruction. One woman was injured in the attack, and preliminary reports indicate that people may be trapped under the rubble.
The air raid alert for the regional center was issued at 10:28 PM. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported the attack, stating:

Adding to the peril, on the same day, sappers in Zaporizhzhia discovered an unexploded 500-kilogram FAB-500 aerial bomb, underscoring the hazardous conditions in the area.
