Russia attacked the ferry complex at the border with Romania: crossing temporarily closed
According to glavcom.ua: On November 22, 2025, Russian troops used unmanned aerial vehicles to attack Ukraine's border infrastructure. The target was the 'Orlivka' ferry complex located at the border with Romania. According to the State Customs Service, as a result of shelling, the infrastructure of the complex was damaged, leading to the suspension of operations at the International Checkpoint 'Orlivka'. Repairs and cleanup from the attack are currently ongoing.
Also on the same night, an attack by Russian terrorists occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where they used drone strikes that led to fires and damages. According to the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, the attack took place in the Verbkiv community of the Pavlohrad district, where a building and other objects were particularly damaged.
After the attack by Russian troops on Ukraine due to the damage at the border ferry complex and in Dnipropetrovsk, citizens and carriers are advised to use other crossings. Currently, restoration and cleanup from the attacks are being conducted.
Both attacks confirm the aggressive nature of the actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and emphasize the need to strengthen security measures and protect the country's border.
