According to Главком: On the night of January 9, the Russian cities of Oryol and Belgorod were subjected to rocket attacks. The governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed the information regarding the consequences of the attacks, including the power outages. In Oryol region, as a result of the shelling, several rockets hit the territory of the Oryol TPP, which also affected the supply of electricity and water.

These events occurred against the backdrop of other incidents, particularly, on the night of December 4, powerful explosions were heard in Oryol region. At the same time, there is information about the possible damage to the large chemical enterprise 'Azot' in Nevinnomyssk. It is worth noting that on the night of November 2, drones attacked Krasnodar region, specifically in Tuapse, where 'Berth 1 of the Tuapse oil terminal', with a capacity of over 2 million tons of petroleum products per year, was hit.
