Russian Shaheds in Polish Airspace: Poland Could Have Downed F-16s
According to glavcom.ua: Russian strike drones 'Shahed' were spotted in Polish airspace after illegally crossing the border from Ukraine. This information was reported by Ukrainian military. The drones were heading towards the Polish city of Zamosc, which holds significant strategic importance for defense.
There are reports that Poland may have been ready to shoot down the drones using F-16 fighters, but this has not been officially confirmed. The 'Rzeszow' airport also temporarily stopped accepting flights due to 'unexpected military activity.'
In this regard, it is worth remembering that this marks the third time this year that Russian drones have breached Ukrainian airspace, posing a threat to the national security of the country and its neighboring states.
