The Russian General Staff declared strikes only on military objects: what does it mean

The Russian General Staff plans to continue strikes on military objects in Ukraine, stated the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Valery Gerasimov. He reported this at the results of the spring-summer military operations. According to the General Staff's plan, strikes will be carried out only on military and military-industrial objects in Ukraine. Gerasimov also confirmed joint attacks of the Russian army with the FSB on Ukraine and emphasized that the RF troops will continue military actions within the framework of the special military operation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov expressed demands to Ukraine, stating that the country has a right to exist only when it releases supporters of Russia from the occupied territories. Lavrov rejected the US plans for establishing peace in Ukraine and confirmed the refusal of Russia to accept any proposals in this regard. He also stressed that Russian officials pointed to Russia's military objectives during the negotiations, and analysts believe that these objectives remain unchanged.
