Five of the wounded were hospitalized, with three in critical condition. The explosion occurred around 2 p.m. when the rocket struck the restaurant building, igniting three separate fires that firefighters managed to extinguish across an area of 200 square meters, affecting wooden structures and grass. Additionally, missile fragments landed in the yard of a nearby residential building in the same district.

Kyiv’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed the casualties, stating:

"Seven people have been injured in Obolon due to the enemy’s attack on the capital. Five are receiving hospital care, with three in serious condition." Vitali Klitschko

He also noted that rescuers found four injured individuals inside the restaurant building, one of whom remains in critical condition: "Firefighters are still working to extinguish the blaze at the Obolon restaurant where the missile hit. They discovered four injured people inside, with one in serious condition. Medical teams are providing assistance."

Meanwhile, in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, fragments from a Russian drone struck a 25-story residential tower and an 8-story office building. This incident damaged an energy facility in the Kyiv region, causing power outages across the city. Mayor Klitschko also reported interruptions in the city’s water supply:

Due to damage to energy infrastructure, Kyiv’s metro system has been temporarily halted.
