SBU operation against the Russian submarine fleet

According to ХВИЛЯ: The Security Service of Ukraine revealed details of the preparations for the explosion of a Russian submarine in the port of Novorossiysk. As part of this operation, an Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft, which is the only one of its kind in the Black Sea, was disabled. The estimated cost of the aircraft is 24 million dollars. The Il-38N aircraft is designed for maritime reconnaissance, searching for submarines, and monitoring water areas.

Before the main attack on the submarine, the SBU conducted an operation using a drone with an aerial explosive device, containing 2000 impact elements. The explosion occurred above the compartment with the main equipment and radars of the Il-38N aircraft, significantly weakening the capabilities of the Russian forces in this region.
