Attacks on Russia's Oil and Gas Infrastructure

According to ХВИЛЯ: Operatives from the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center, alongside Ukraine's Special Operations Forces and military intelligence, carried out a strike on the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. Drones successfully hit five fuel storage tanks and two oil loading racks. Reports indicate that fires broke out in the truck parking area and the facility's warehouse infrastructure. Positions of Russian air defense systems protecting the terminal were also targeted. Tamanneftegaz is the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in southern Russia.

On the same night, leading into June 13, Ukrainian defense forces struck an oil preparation and pumping workshop near Kotovo in the Volgograd region. Ukraine's General Staff confirmed the hit and subsequent fire at the facility, which processes and transfers oil from the Korobkovskoye and adjacent fields. The oil pumped from this site supplies Russian refineries and export infrastructure.

Strikes on Enemy Command Posts

Additionally, Ukrainian forces targeted enemy command posts in several regions. Successful strikes were reported near Soledar and Voskresenka in Donetsk Oblast, Verkhnya Krynytsia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as in the vicinity of Khoromny in Russia's Bryansk Oblast and Novomykolaivka in Kherson Oblast.

These operations are part of Ukraine's strategic campaign to weaken Russia's military capabilities by dismantling the infrastructure that funds the war. Analysts note that the oil and gas sector is critical to Russia's economy, providing a substantial portion of its budget revenue. Successful strikes on these facilities could hinder Russia's ability to sustain combat operations and affect the stability of the regional energy market.

These recent strikes underscore Ukraine's intensified efforts to disrupt Russia's energy infrastructure, which serves as a vital financial resource for its military operations.
