SBU exposes FSB saboteurs thanks to double agents: how the scheme works

According to glavcom.ua: The Security Service of Ukraine actively uses double agents to identify collaborators who are ready to cooperate with Russian special services and prepare sabotage in the controlled territory. This is reported by the publication 'Glavkom' with reference to The Telegraph.

Collaboration with traitors

The magazine tells the story of Andriy, who responds to job offers from the FSB that appear in Telegram channels. By agreeing to cooperate, he simulates performing tasks to help the SBU identify real saboteurs.

Dangerous tasks

In one case, Andriy made a fake bomb at the request of the FSB and left it in a designated place. Thanks to SBU officers, the saboteur was arrested before the dangerous moment occurred.

Struggle against Russian propaganda

Russia tries to create the illusion of an internal 'resistance movement' against the Ukrainian authorities, using citizens who agree to carry out orders for money. Double agents help uncover the true performers of sabotage.
