Attack on Russia’s Metafrax Chemicals Facility

According to Зеленський: The Security Service of Ukraine has carried out a strike on the Russian enterprise Metafrax Chemicals, located in the Perm Krai region, roughly 1,700 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. As a result of this operation, production at the facility has been halted.

Metafrax Chemicals plays a key role in Russia’s chemical sector, supplying materials that support dozens of other Russian military manufacturers. Specifically, its output is used in the production of:

  • aviation equipment
  • drones
  • rocket engines
  • explosives

The shutdown of operations at this plant significantly impacts Russia’s military capabilities.

“I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine for hitting one of Russia’s critical military-linked facilities,” experts noted.

This event demonstrates Ukraine’s strategic ability to target key adversary infrastructure, even across vast distances. The production halt at Metafrax Chemicals could severely disrupt the supply of military materials to Russia, potentially affecting its battlefield operations. The actions of Ukraine’s Security Service highlight the effectiveness of focused efforts aimed at reducing the enemy’s military resources.

The recent strike on Metafrax Chemicals underscores Ukraine's ongoing strategic operations against Russian military infrastructure. For more insights into this significant event and its implications for the region, you can read about the Ukrainian Security Service's actions in the Perm region.
