According to Главком: Ukraine's Defense Forces have regained control of the settlement of Novohatske in the Donetsk region. The operation was carried out jointly by the 37th Separate Marine Brigade and the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavriya Brigade, according to an announcement from the 37th Brigade.

The enemy was driven from its positions, suffered losses, and retreated, the military reported. This success marks another step in Ukraine's ongoing efforts to strengthen its foothold in the area. As of July 4, Ukrainian forces also maintain a presence in various parts of the city of Kostyantynivka, which remains under their control.

“Through the coordinated and unified efforts of the warriors of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade and their brothers-in-arms from the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavriya Brigade, the settlement of Novohatske in Donetsk region has been completely cleared of Russian occupiers,” representatives of the 37th Brigade stated.

They added: “The enemy was driven from its positions, suffered losses, and retreated.” These achievements highlight the effectiveness of joint operations among Ukrainian units. “Together we are stronger, together we destroy the enemy more effectively,” the marines emphasized.
