Shevchenko published a photo with Italian Materazzi, who visited Russia in 2024

The President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko, published a photo on his Instagram with former 'Inter' player Marco Materazzi. The photo also features Materazzi's former teammate at 'Inter', Ivan Cordoba, and FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Marco Materazzi visited Russia in July 2024. He was a guest of the Okko streaming service's TV studio before the Euro 2024 playoff matches and attended a friendly match of Moscow's 'Dynamo'.

President Shevchenko also shared a photo with Materazzi and other former football players. Meanwhile, 'Chelsea' confidently defeated PSG in the final of the Club World Championship 2025 with a score of 3:0. Goals were scored by Palmer (twice) and Pedro.

In the upcoming Champions League matches, 'Dynamo' will play against the winner of the pair 'Zalgiris' (Lithuania) – 'Hamrun Spartans' (Malta). These matches will take place on July 22/23 and 29/30, marking the first official games of the new season for 'Dynamo'.
