According to МЗС: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has expressed grave concern that Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure are creating a nuclear safety threat, specifically endangering the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). He stated that systematic strikes by Russian forces are jeopardizing the power supply, which could lead to severe consequences for nuclear facilities. The Chernobyl site, which suffered a catastrophic meltdown in 1986, remains a major environmental and security concern.
