According to glavcom.ua: The son of the famous Ukrainian politician, human rights activist, and dissident Stepan Khmara, Taras, has decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the NGO 'All-Ukrainian Women's Movement 'For a Free Ukraine' Raisa Shmatko.

It should be noted that Stepan Khmara has three children: son Roman, daughter Solomiya from his first marriage with Halyna, and son Taras from his second marriage with Roksolana.
