According to hvylya.net: Alexander Syrsky, Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published a report on the situation at the front and the results of the Ukrainian troops' work in June. According to him, in the past day, there were 188 combat clashes with the enemy, and the total losses of the occupiers exceeded one thousand soldiers.

During a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on July 8, Syrsky emphasized the most active areas of combat operations. 'I reported on the situation at the front, primarily in the hottest areas – specifically, Pokrovsk, Lyman, Novopavlivka, and Severodonetsk,' noted the commander.

Particular attention was paid to the actions of Ukrainian units in active defense. The commander emphasized the importance of preventing the enemy's advancement deep into the defense in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions and reaching the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The importance of restoring positions and holding territories in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation was also highlighted.

'We continue to restrain a significant grouping of the enemy at the border. The enemy will not have peace there,' Syrsky stated.

June results: 115 DeepStrike hits and increased Russian activity

Analyzing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in June, Syrsky noted that the Russian aggressor attempted to destabilize Ukrainian defense by increasing the intensity of strikes and seeking to stretch the line of combat engagement. The main task of the Ukrainian forces was to stabilize the situation in the threatening areas.

'The enemy is consistently increasing the number of personnel involved in the aggressive war against our country and ramping up the production of missiles and drones,' the commander stated.

In June, the defenders of Ukraine completed 115 fire missions towards DeepStrike. Ukrainian artillery struck 2864 enemy targets, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine as a whole hit about 4,000 targets.

At the same time, Russians increased the number of aerial attack assets – missiles and drones – targeting Ukraine by 1.6 times in a month. Consequently, strengthening and improving the effectiveness of the air defense system has been identified as one of the main priorities.

Mobilization problems and future tasks

Syrsky raised the issue of mobilization and recruitment, pointing out several problematic moments. 'At the meeting, we analyzed violations of the mobilization call procedure in several regions. We identified errors and shortcomings that must be analyzed and corrected,' he reported.

The commander emphasized the importance of having a proper attitude towards people and proper training during mobilization. A positive moment was noted in the increase in the rate of return from the special combat zone.

Considering the instability of the international situation, the search for new ways to obtain weapons and military equipment continues, expanding the capabilities for their repair and modernization. There remains an urgent need to develop strike drone capabilities to compensate for part of the artillery shell nomenclature.

'The Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to stand firm and thwart the enemy's plans regarding its 'summer offensive'. With blood and sweat. Thanks to the support and unity of the Ukrainian people,' Syrsky summarized.

The report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky reflects the tense situation at the front in June and the important tasks facing the Ukrainian army. The report notes an increase in the activity of the Russian aggressor, as well as problems related to mobilization and recruitment. An important area of development is the improvement of the air defense system and the development of strike drones to compensate for artillery shells. The commander called for the unity of the Ukrainian people to defend their territories and achieve victory over the enemy.
