In 2025, the frontman of the band Green Gray Murik has essentially found himself without stable concert income and is forced to focus on writing songs for sale. The musician candidly talked about his finances in an interview on Slava Dyomin's YouTube channel.

According to the artist, he has consciously chosen a commercial format for working with music. Murik confessed that he postponed the release of his own album, although the material was ready a few years ago. Some compositions had to be completely redone due to language issues, and he decided to sell some tracks to other performers.

Murik stated that he sells original songs without arrangement at a fixed price. This concerns commercial orders for other artists, where the musician acts solely as the author.

Currently, the cost of one song is:

  • about 2000 dollars for a full track;
  • the minimum he is ready to agree on is 1500 dollars without arrangement.

At the same time, the singer emphasized that he has no regular monthly income. Due to the lack of touring and concerts, earnings in the classical sense have disappeared.

The main sources of funds remain royalties and the income of his wife. According to Murik, royalties come irregularly - once every three months and range from 300 to 800 euros per quarter. He considers these amounts to be notably limited for a full life.

The artist also noted that he was able to accumulate some savings earlier thanks to corporate performances. Currently, the financial situation remains difficult, and working on music is more of an investment in the future than a stable income.

Earlier, the soloist of the band Green Gray Dmitry Muravitsky commented on the loss of his friend Andriy Diesel Yatsenko and announced upcoming concerts.
