Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Slysyarev becomes U19 European champion: victory by knockout
Ukrainian Oleksandr Slysyarev became the U19 European Boxing Champion, defeating his opponent from Turkey by technical knockout in the first round. His precise punch to the chin secured the victory, for which the athlete was recognized by the Boxing Federation of Ukraine.

Ukraine entered the top 10 of the overall medal standings at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place. Our team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making it the second most successful performance in the history of Ukraine's participation in these competitions.
In various sports, our athletes demonstrated high results, particularly in judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.
