According to Кулеба: Road services are currently working in an enhanced mode to eliminate the consequences of heavy snowfall that has covered the entire country. An operational team has been formed at the Recovery Agency to coordinate work on state roads. More than 970 units of equipment and over a thousand people are involved in clearing the roads.

The situation on the roads

The situation on the roads remains complicated. In the Rivne region, traffic on the M-06 highway is temporarily restricted for trucks, and traffic is also restricted on the M-06 in the Zhytomyr region towards Rivne. In Lviv region, there is also a possibility of traffic restrictions towards Rivne on the M-06.

The bad weather continues to move towards the Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Chernivtsi regions, and further - to the Kyiv region. The situation on the roads requires attention and caution from drivers planning trips in these areas.

The heavy snowfall affecting a significant part of Ukraine severely complicates traffic and requires active measures from road services. The situation may worsen due to the further movement of bad weather, threatening new restrictions on highways, especially in central and western regions.
