Hot Summer Finale: Where to Expect Real Hell in Ukraine in August
According to hvylya.net: Ukrainians are being warned that this August the hottest and driest weather will be in the south and southeast of the country. Natalia Goleniya from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that all regions are expected to experience a deficit of precipitation.
'For August, according to data from world European centers, we forecast: in the western part of Ukraine, the temperature will be close to the August norm, and precipitation will also be around normal in the west of the country,' said Goleniya.
In most regions, an increase in the average monthly temperature by one and a half to two degrees is expected. A lack of rain is also forecasted – only 60–70% of the usual precipitation levels.
Highest Temperatures and Weather Conditions for August
The highest temperatures are expected in the southern and southeastern regions. During the first two weeks of August, record temperature values are possible. In the first days of the month, the air may warm up to +30...+34 degrees, and on some days even to extreme +35...+38 degrees. In the western regions, milder temperature conditions are anticipated.
'So summer is still in full swing,' emphasized meteorologist Goleniya.
In the north, central, and eastern regions, heat is also expected within +33...+34 degrees. In some days, extreme temperature values are possible in certain areas.
We remind you, the forecaster named the areas that will be affected by bad weather.
