Spied for Moscow - Son of Russian Diplomat Arrested in Austria
A 39-year-old Greek man with Russian roots was uncovered in Vienna who was spying for Moscow.
The suspect was passing classified information to Russia, including about the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Heute.

The spy turned out to be the son of a Russian diplomat. He had worked for the Russian GRU for several years. This was confirmed by the Austrian Ministry of the Interior.
The man is the son of a former employee of the Russian GRU, who during his active service was stationed in Germany and Austria as a diplomat.
The suspect had contacted diplomats and intelligence representatives from various countries and was in Moscow shortly before and during the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.
After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, intelligence discovered agents of the Russian special services on the territory of France. They are using new profiles to avoid Western surveillance. This was reported by Le Monde.
Former Member of the European Parliament Bela Kovacs received up to five years' probation for espionage in favor of Russia. Kovacs currently resides in Moscow. An international warrant may be issued for his arrest.
