Natalia Valievska’s 45th Birthday

According to Главком: On June 10, Ukrainian singer Natalia Valievska marks her 45th birthday. She is celebrating the milestone in Ukraine, surrounded by close friends and family, without any lavish festivities. In a post marking the occasion, she shared photos and a series of affirmations, expressing gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, her parents, herself, the people around her, and the world at large.

Valievska, who remains in Ukraine, also reflected on her 2014 performance at the pro-Russian Anti-Maidan rally, stating she still feels ashamed of it. She explained that she agreed to perform due to threats made against her and her family members if she refused.

“I’m spending my birthday with my closest loved ones, without any pomp, at home in Ukraine. Here’s an insight: Over 45 years, I’ve realized that the most interesting things don’t always happen in youth. Career, business, financial success, creative flourishing – for many women, all of this comes after 40. And if today you feel like you’re falling behind – you’re not. Maybe you’re just entering your strongest chapter. And so am I – Natalia Valievska.”

In her affirmations, the singer expressed gratitude for various aspects of her life. Among them, she noted:

  • I am grateful for life in all its forms – the joyful and the difficult – because each has shaped me.

Valievska also thanked the people who have left a mark on her life, herself for her resilience and strength, and for the inner peace that comes when you stop rushing and start listening to yourself.

Natalia Valievska expressed gratitude to her mother for the gift of life, to the Almighty and the entire heavenly host, as well as to the Defense Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to live, love, work, and dream right here in Ukraine.

“Today, I am especially grateful for the people by my side, for the experiences, for the mistakes that became lessons, for the courage to start over, for the chance to live, love, work, and dream right here in Ukraine.”

Valievska’s birthday celebration unfolds against the backdrop of ongoing challenges in Ukraine, underscoring the importance of personal resilience and appreciation for life’s simple blessings. Her affirmations reflect deep introspection and a recognition of each moment’s value, a message that resonates strongly during these difficult times. By voicing gratitude toward the Ukrainian Armed Forces and her loved ones, the artist reaffirms her support for and connection to her country, which likely fuels her both professionally and personally.
