Ukraine is preparing to simplify the procedure for confirming insurance experience for pension appointments. According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the new rules aim to facilitate access to payments for people who have lost their documents or cannot restore them due to the war.

Confirmation of experience for pensions: what will change

As Zheleznyak explained, the key idea of the changes is to maximize the process into a digital format and expand the sources of experience confirmation.

These innovations include:

  • using data from government registers instead of paper documents

  • the ability to confirm experience through electronic databases

  • simplifying procedures for people from occupied territories.

This should help Ukrainians who have lost workbooks or archives due to the war to receive their pensions faster.

The changes primarily affect those who cannot confirm their experience through traditional methods. This includes people from temporarily occupied territories or those whose enterprises have been liquidated.

According to the deputy, the state already has enough data in digital systems to confirm employment without paper certificates.

“This is about ensuring that people do not remain without pensions due to the lack of paperwork,” he emphasized.

It is expected that the new approach will avoid delays in pension appointments and reduce the number of bureaucratic procedures.

Earlier, Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that there is no final resolution of the political crisis in the Verkhovna Rada, despite a number of laws being voted on. The situation appears to be a temporary compromise rather than a complete settlement.
