The USA allocated $329 million for Patriot and Starlink: what Ukraine will receive

The USA approved the sale of military equipment and technology to Ukraine for a total of $329 million. The State Department made the decision to provide support for the Patriot air defense systems and Starlink satellite communication services.

The package for the Patriot systems includes spare parts, software, technical support, communications means, engineering, and logistical services. The cost of this package is approximately $179.1 million. Starlink services also include engineering and logistical support from the US government.

'The proposed sale will serve the foreign policy and national interests of the USA by strengthening the security of a partner country, which is a force for political stability and economic development in Europe,' it is emphasized in the official statement.

The implementation of the Patriot equipment sale will take place with the involvement of representatives from the US government and contractors, while for Starlink services, no additional US representatives or contractors are needed.

Ukraine is receiving important defense support from the USA, which will contribute to strengthening the country's security and stability in Europe.
