Ukraine's Military to Register Starlink Terminals via DELTA System for Secure Access

Call for Verification of Starlink Terminals

According to Главком: Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has urged military personnel to verify their Starlink terminals through the DELTA system to have them added to an official whitelist. This follows a government decree mandating the creation of such a list, a measure designed to guarantee uninterrupted and stable communications for the Defense Forces. This move highlights Ukraine's reliance on commercial satellite technology to maintain battlefield connectivity.

To complete verification, service members must submit their terminal numbers via the DELTA system. Crucially, they are not required to transfer the terminals to a unit's account or provide personal login credentials. Soon, only verified and registered terminals will be operational within Ukraine, a step intended to optimize the use of this critical communications resource.

The Critical Need for Terminal Verification

Fedorov emphasized the urgent need to verify all terminals used for defense purposes and called on commanders at all levels to organize the process. He also stated that the system will later be configured to accept real-time registration data, which should improve verification efficiency. The ongoing conflict has made secure and resilient communications a top priority for Ukrainian forces.
