According to glavcom.ua: In recent days, the sea in Odessa has been very turbulent: high waves and strong winds create dangerous conditions for swimming. Some vacationers ignore the ban and continue to swim out deep, using inflatable mattresses and rings. However, the wind quickly carries inflatable devices away from the shore, and the waves can easily overturn them, complicating self-exit from the water, rescuers state.

Storm winds and high waves have persisted along the Odessa coast in recent days. The sea remains turbulent, posing a serious danger for swimming. Rescuers urge citizens to exercise caution to avoid danger. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odessa region.

The appeal to citizens noted: Think about whether such rest is worth your life. Avoid water activities during a storm. Monitor your children's entertainment. Remember that water does not forgive mistakes!

It is reminded that as a result of bad weather in Podolia, in the city of Balta, on July 27, a tragic incident occurred when a tree killed one teenager and injured four other children who were resting by the river. The incident happened due to sudden bad weather and strong winds that led to a tree falling on the tent where the children were.

On July 28, Cyclone Karlheinze was observed in the western part of Ukraine. The center of the cyclone was in Poland.

Reports of the storm at the Odessa coast call for caution when swimming due to the turbulent sea. Rescuers warn of the dangers of water activities during the storm and emphasize the safety of children while resting near the water.
