State procurement of cochlear processors: what will change for patients

According to Міністерство Здоров'я: The state has decided to centrally purchase modern sound processors for the cochlear implantation system. This decision will help ensure the continuity of auditory rehabilitation and reduce the financial burden on patients' families. The procurement of over 380 sound processors worth approximately 182.6 million hryvnias excluding VAT has already been announced for patients who have cochlear implants and need replacement processors.

This is only part of the program for purchasing medical products for hearing aid provision, which includes a wide range of medical goods encompassing cochlear implantation systems, bone conduction systems, and hearing aids for patients with hearing loss. Over 3,000 modern hearing aids have already been supplied to children and adults across the country.
