The court confiscated over 5 million UAH from the family of a deputy: assets deemed unjustified
Court ruling on the deputy's assets
According to НАЗК: The court deemed unjustified the assets amounting to over 5 million UAH belonging to close relatives of a deputy from the Velykodimersk village council in the Brovary district. This decision was a result of monitoring conducted by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).
The court granted the lawsuit of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). The volume of unjustified assets exceeds 5 million UAH. Among those connected to the deputy are:
- the deputy's son, who owns a Jaguar XF;
- the ex-wife, who has a Volkswagen ID 4;
- the mother-in-law, ex-wife, and son, who became owners of ten plots of land.
The NAPC established that these assets could not have been acquired through legitimate income. This court ruling underscores the importance of monitoring the financial assets of public officials and their families.
