Public Broadcasting has rejected Polyakova's appeal: there will be no changes to the Eurovision rules
According to glavcom.ua: The 'Public Broadcasting' company is concerned about preventing a national exhibition of artists who have performed concerts in occupied territories. Such a ban applies to participants who have performed in Russia, Crimea after 2014, or in other occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as in Belarus after 2022. Details about this were published on the 'Glavkom' website, referencing the company's press service.
It is also worth noting that singer Olya Polyakova has made her initiative regarding changes in the participation of artists in the national selection for Eurovision. Producer Mykhailo Yasynskyi, who collaborates with the artist, supported this initiative, which proposes a review of the rules regarding the participation of artists who have performed in the territory of the Russian Federation and occupied territories after 2014.
