Sweden’s Ystad District Court ordered the detention of the sanctioned bulk carrier Caffa, acting on a motion from the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office. Ukraine’s Prosecutor General stated that the ship was allegedly involved in illegally transporting Ukrainian goods from temporarily occupied territories.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress backed a bill allocating over $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine. The legislation also introduces additional sanctions against Russia. This American support marks a crucial step in providing both military and financial assistance to Ukraine amid ongoing aggression.
