Швейцарія продовжила термін захисту для українців до 2027 року: що нового впроваджено.

The Swiss Federal Council has decided to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians until March 4, 2027, but has introduced new restrictions. The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) urges Ukrainians to seek ways to legalize their status through work, study, or family reunification, as temporary protection does not guarantee long-term stay in Switzerland.

New conditions for Ukrainians in Switzerland

After the expiration of the S status, a transitional period for departure will be established. However, those who already have another residence permit obtained through work, study, or family reunification will be allowed to stay in the country. It is important to note that the B permit issued during temporary protection will also cease to be valid upon the cancellation of S status.

Ukrainians residing in Switzerland under temporary protection have the opportunity to extend their stay until 2027; however, they are advised to seek ways to legalize their status through work, study, or reunification with relatives, as temporary protection is not eternal.
