Internal Battles in the Ukrainian Government

According to hvylya.net: The Economist has published an investigation into the internal political conflicts within the Ukrainian government, which are intensifying against the backdrop of worsening front-line conditions and the suspension of American military aid.

According to the British publication, three key events occurred in June that indicate the growing influence of President's Office head Andriy Yermak. One of them is the accusation of wartime senior Ukrainian official, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, of corruption. The possibility of a new Prime Minister appointment is also being considered. Yermak’s significant role in controlling access to the president, as well as his conflict with intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, is noteworthy. A rivalry persists between them, yet Budanov remains in office, suggesting that President Volodymyr Zelensky's final decision is still in place.

Publication's Alarm

According to The Economist’s report, Ukraine may witness a deep political crisis and strategic drift due to the concentration of power in the hands of individuals. One official concurs, stating that Ukraine risks becoming a victim of Russian actions due to internal contradictions and the lack of decisive actions.

Especially mysterious is the suspension of American military aid, which occurred from the night of June 30 to July 1. It is currently unclear whether this is a temporary pause or a permanent decision from the American side.

The publication in The Economist reveals the internal conflicts in the Ukrainian government, where the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak plays a significant role. These conflicts may lead to a deep political crisis and strategic drift in the country due to the concentration of power in individual hands.
