According to glavcom.ua: Singapore has been the most expensive city for wealthy individuals for the third consecutive year. This conclusion was made by an expert group from Julius Baer. The report notes that the ranking was formed based on the price index of a range of goods and services that are in demand among wealthy people.

“The number of dollar millionaires in Asia last year, according to preliminary data, increased by 5%, to 855 thousand,” the report says.

Also in the top of the most expensive cities in the world were London, Hong Kong, Monaco, and Zurich. Following them are Shanghai, Dubai, New York, Paris, and Milan. According to analysts, investments in gold and other assets in offshore zones are growing due to economic uncertainty, increasing Singapore's popularity among wealthy individuals.

Updated city ranking by quality of life

According to updated information from the analytical platform Numbeo, the cities of the Netherlands lead in quality of life - The Hague, Groningen, and Eindhoven. Istanbul, in turn, set a world record for the increase in rental prices, surpassing Geneva and New York.

The report from the banking group Julius Baer confirms that Singapore maintains its leading position as the most expensive city for wealthy individuals. London, Hong Kong, and other financial centers also remain in the top. At the same time, the quality of life analysis identified the Netherlands as a country with leaders in this direction, and Istanbul as the world record holder for the increase in rental prices.
