The US president noted that he communicated with both Netanyahu and the leaders of Qatar, and he expressed hope for achieving peace as a result of this situation. Qatar condemned the Israeli attack, although Trump thanked the emir and the Prime Minister of Qatar for their support in resolving the conflict. Pedro Sanchez also announced an embargo on arms supplies to Israel in order to protect the civilian population in the Gaza Strip and prevent civilian casualties.
