According to hvylya.net: U.S. President Donald Trump during a conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky urged Ukraine to shift from defensive to offensive actions in the war with Russia, claiming that this could change the situation. The Ukrainian leader responded that this is possible with the right weapons.
According to sources, Trump told Zelensky that Ukraine's defensive actions would not change the course of the war and that it was necessary to go on the offensive. When the American president asked if Ukraine could attack Moscow or Saint Petersburg, Zelensky replied: 'If we have the right weapons, we can.'
After this conversation, Ukrainian officials were pleasantly surprised by Trump's positive attitude and his promise to provide significant military aid to Ukraine. Zelensky believes this is related to Trump finally realizing what Putin is like and how his Kremlin manipulates him.
Importantly, such support will help Ukraine and confirms the positive development of political relations and cooperation between Ukraine and the USA.
