According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine is set to experience cold and wet conditions during the final days of May. Daytime temperatures across most regions will range from +12°C to +17°C. Warmer weather is forecast for the western areas, where thermometers will climb to between +19°C and +23°C. In Zakarpattia, temperatures could reach as high as +24°C. The coldest day will be Sunday, May 31, with temperatures in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Rivne regions hovering between +10°C and +13°C. In the capital, Kyiv, daytime readings will stay around +12°C to +14°C.

Rainfall and Wind Patterns

As for precipitation, no rain is expected in western Ukraine on May 30, but other parts of the country will see occasional showers. Kyiv will also experience rain on both days. Winds on Saturday, May 30, will be gusty, but they are forecast to calm down by Sunday, May 31. The prevailing wind direction will be from the northwest.

Natalka Didenko remarked that 'this year's spring will wave us a beautiful glove' and added that a warming trend will arrive in Ukraine starting June 1: 'as a reward for reading books and supporting culture.'
