The Third Anniversary of the Death of Bohdan Pstryj near Soledar: The Story of a Heroic Border Guard

According to МВС: Today marks the third anniversary of the death of border guard Bohdan Pstryj, who fought for Soledar. Bohdan joined the 10th Mobile Border Guard Detachment DOZOR at the start of the war and quickly became an authority in his unit.

In December 2022, the DOZOR units were engaged in heavy fighting in the Bakhmut direction, defending the city of Soledar.

During one of the massed mortar strikes, an enemy shell hit a junior sergeant who was heading to the front line. He died on the spot from his injuries.

Bohdan is survived by his wife Kateryna and their little daughter Nikoł. May all who have fallen in these wars be forever in our hearts.
