Threat of waterlessness for residents of Dnipropetrovsk region

More than 300 thousand residents of Dnipropetrovsk region may be left without water supply. This was stated by Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Kucherenko, warning of a possible humanitarian crisis in the frontline region.

«In the near future, residents of Dnipropetrovsk region may be left without a water supply. And the state remains silent. More than 300 thousand people in the frontline region are at real risk of losing access to water», - Kucherenko emphasized.

This problem arose due to the neglect of the Economic Court's decision, which prohibited disconnecting electricity from SE «Ukrenergo» to the state enterprise «Dnipro-Zapadny Donbass». However, the power supply has not been restored.

«The Ministry of Energy is frankly ignoring the court's decision, and the executive service demonstrates its favorite tactic - total silence», - the MP stated.

The cessation of activities of the enterprise «Dnipro-Zapadny Donbass» may lead to serious consequences, including epidemics and collapse of the healthcare system. Kucherenko urged the authorities to respond quickly to this situation and prevent the crisis.

The MP also appealed to other officials demanding immediate action, as any delay could have negative consequences for residents and the region as a whole.

Ukrainian MP Kucherenko warns of a serious threat of waterlessness for more than 300 thousand residents of Dnipropetrovsk region due to the disregard for court decisions and negligence of government agencies, and calls on the government to intervene immediately to avoid a possible humanitarian crisis in the region.
