According to hvylya.net: According to a study by the Institute of Automotive Market, Ukrainian drivers choose cars based on where they purchase them. The domestic market is dominated by gasoline vehicles as a popular and budget-friendly option for owners of 'old' cars. Eco-technology enthusiasts are actively purchasing electric vehicles through imports. The greatest volatility is observed in the market for new cars, where hybrid models are gaining increasing popularity.
According to Ostap Novytskyi from the Institute of Research on the Automotive Market, hybrid cars are becoming the best alternative for those seeking a combination of savings and advanced technologies, but are not yet ready to fully switch to electric vehicles.
