Trukhanov challenges the revocation of citizenship: what will happen to the mayor's position
According to glavcom.ua: The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, announced that he plans to challenge the decision to revoke his Ukrainian citizenship in the Supreme Court. He emphasized that he has never expressed an intention to obtain Russian citizenship and has not been on the territory of Russia for automatic acquisition.

Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov had his citizenship revoked after a decree was signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, regarding individuals with Russian passports. Trukhanov considers this move a "falsification," as he insists that he does not have Russian citizenship.
Additionally, the President of Ukraine announced the establishment of a city military administration in Odesa, with the appointment of its head planned shortly.
