Carpets and sofas have disappeared from the office of the former mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov. This information was reported by Oleg Kiper, head of the Odessa OVA, at a joint briefing with the new head of the city military administration, Sergey Lysak. It is currently unknown whether this was Trukhanov's personal property or the property of the city council. However, Kiper urged not to rush into the office, as 'some property has disappeared from the working month where Trukhanov worked'. The situation with the removed carpets and sofas left a strange impression on the head of the Odessa OVA, who feels that everything has been taken from the office. The briefing also expressed the priorities of the new head of the city military administration - security, social protection of servicemen, medicine, education, and preparation for winter. There are plans to eliminate shortcomings to prevent possible tragedies similar to the one that occurred with the flood in Odessa. The new head also supported the decision of the head of the Odessa OVA to demolish the monument to Alexander Pushkin, but noted that his basic tasks remain in the area of security.
