According to glavcom.ua: When the state company NEC 'Ukrenergo' was headed by Volodymyr Kudrytskyi in 2020, his wife - Oleksandra Yastremska, had also been working in the same structure, having joined the company a year earlier as the deputy director for legal matters. After her husband was promoted to the head position of NEC, Yastremska's career path also soared: she began to head the areas of corporate law, international cooperation, and company management reform.

Among other things, under Yastremska's leadership, the legal department of 'Ukrenergo' supported financing projects from the EBRD for over 500 million euros and the implementation of a smart grid system. In 2024, at Ukrenergo, she began coordinating decarbonization projects.

Kudrytskyi, at the time of his wife's employment and the expansion of her responsibilities in the company, had direct managerial authority.

Since Kudrytskyi did not submit public income declarations as the head of 'Ukrenergo', the changes in his wife's salary during that time can be investigated only by authorized bodies.

Meanwhile, the NACP has not once paid attention to the potential conflict of interest between the couple that managed one of the largest energy enterprises of the state during the war and, in fact, was responsible for key financial matters of the company.

As of now, 'Ukrenergo' has not published explanations on whether internal mechanisms for preventing conflicts of interest were applied in the case of Kudrytskyi and Yastremska.

Let us remind that after his dismissal, Kudrytskyi received over 17 million UAH in payments from 'Ukrenergo'.
An audit by the State Audit Office discovered significant financial violations in the activities of 'Ukrenergo' (during Kudrytskyi's term): million-dollar double payments to contractors, uncontrolled spending of international funds, awarding bonuses contrary to the collective agreement, inflated construction costs, etc. Overall, the State Audit Office recorded violations amounting to 68 billion UAH.

This article describes the career development of Volodymyr Kudrytskyi's wife in NEC 'Ukrenergo' after he became the head of the company. Initially working in the legal department, Oleksandra Yastremska began to head important areas for the benefit of 'Ukrenergo'. However, due to the absence of public income declarations from Kudrytskyi, the situation requires the attention of authorized bodies, as there may be a conflict of interest. Additionally, the identified financial violations in the company under Kudrytskyi's leadership became the subject of an audit by the State Audit Office, which raised doubts about the business activities in NEC 'Ukrenergo'.
