A balcony collapsed in Odesa: two women were trapped under the rubble
An unfortunate incident occurred in Odesa – a balcony on the third floor of a residential building collapsed. According to the State Emergency Service, two women were injured as a result of the event.
The women, one born in 1941 and the other in 1969, who were on the balcony, fell to the second floor under the rubble. Rescuers quickly intervened, saved the women, and handed them over to medics for qualified assistance.

It is worth noting that a similar situation occurred in the capital with American documentarian Christopher Walters, who fell along with the balcony. Also, previously in Transcarpathia and Lviv, there were balcony collapses that resulted in tragic consequences.
The consequences of the balcony collapse in Odesa once again emphasize the importance of regular technical maintenance of buildings and adhering to all safety standards in homes where people live.
