In Cherkasy, a coach of a children's dance group, which operates in a local school, decided to raise money for a trip to Georgia for international competitions, but an unfortunate event became an obstacle. According to the publication 'Glaikom', the woman lost all the collected money in a casino.

A representative of one of the affected families requested anonymity. She reported that the new manager took the position in the autumn of 2024. After the children's victory in the competition in Batumi in February 2025, the director took on the organization of the trip. They collected money from each person ranging from 550 to 600 euros, totaling over 1 million 350 thousand hryvnias.

'In the last week, when it was necessary to see the tickets, she still hadn't shown them. She only sent a reservation for the bus. Then the manager informed that there was a problem. Parents came to her home, where the woman confessed that she had lost the money in a casino,' - said the affected person.

According to the affected woman, the school principal confirmed that the coach was fired in May, even before the incident was revealed. The police have initiated a pre-trial investigation. It is also worth noting that recently in Russia, a children's volleyball coach was accused of fraud involving a large sum of money.
