Only Cardiac Center in Cherkasy Region Completes Major Renovation
Regional Cardiology Center Gets a Major Upgrade
According to Міністерство Здоров'я: A comprehensive modernization of the regional cardiology center in Cherkasy has been completed. The total cost of the project reached 11.9 million UAH, with 7.4 million UAH provided by the state budget under Ukraine’s Recovery Program. The renovation included:
- insulation of the facade covering 4,500 square meters;
- cladding with modern composite panels;
- refurbishment of the entrance steps and building base;
- installation of a new drainage system;
- setup of air conditioning units.
This facility is the only one in the region that provides emergency cardiac surgery. Each year, more than 5,000 patients receive inpatient care here. In 2025, the center performed 1,971 high-tech cardiac surgeries-a 13% increase compared to the previous year. The modernization aims to enhance medical services and improve treatment quality for patients.
