The Belarusian army does not activate at the border after the Zapad-2025 exercises: statement from the State Border Guard Service
According to hvylya.net: There is no activity at the border between Belarus and Ukraine following the completion of the joint Russian-Belarusian exercises 'Zapad-2025'. This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andrii Demchenko, during a telebroadcast.
After the exercises, Belarusian and Russian military returned to their permanent locations. Demchenko noted that the Russian presence was small, and currently, their troops are not observed at the border.
'Belarus has maintained a small number of units at the border with Ukraine since 2022, trying to show that the threat comes specifically from Ukraine,' Demchenko remarked.
There is currently no activity at the border between Belarus and Ukraine from either Belarusian or Russian military. After the completion of the joint exercises, the units returned to their previous deployment locations, and the situation at the border remains calm.
