According to hvylya.net: A listening device was found in the office of Lviv's city mayor Andrii Sadovyy. This unexpected discovery occurred on September 17. The equipment was camouflaged in a regular charging device for a cordless phone.
Sadovyy reported that during an inspection of phone malfunctions, a SIM card, a memory card, and a microphone were carelessly soldered to the charging device. This device started malfunctioning at the beginning of last week, after which it was sent for repair. The result was listening equipment.
'Today, a listening device was found in my office. A SIM card, a memory card, and a microphone were carelessly soldered into a regular charging block for a cordless phone. Last week the phone started to 'freeze', and we sent it for repair - you see the result,' the mayor shared on social media.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are already investigating this incident, trying to identify the culprits and their motives. Andrii Sadovyy personally contacted the police with a statement regarding the discovery of a listening device in his office.
