According to glavcom.ua: The police in Kenya discovered a criminal network that recruited local men to participate in the war on the side of Russia. They promised the boys good jobs in Russia, but in reality, they forced them to sign contracts with the aggressor. For all this 'organization', Kenyans paid substantial amounts - up to $17,800.

“For visa processing and organizing the trip, the recruited men paid significant sums - up to $17,800,” said a law enforcement representative.

Just recently, 21 Kenyan citizens were discovered in a hotel in the city of Ati-River, waiting to be sent to Russia. Some of them suffered harm or went missing after participating in the conflict.

According to reports, Evans's sports agent proposed a tourist trip to Russia, but at the end of the trip, he signed a military service contract without his explicit consent. And when he tried to refuse, he was threatened with execution.

“Upon arriving at the military camp, he was supposed to carry out tasks, as the signed contract did not allow for changes,” the Ukrainian brigade reported.
