In Kyiv, a woman will be tried for drug trafficking from her apartment: faces up to 10 years
The case of a 28-year-old woman in Kyiv
According to Главком: A case against a 28-year-old woman who organized the trafficking of psychotropic substances from her own apartment has been submitted to the court in Kyiv. The woman lives in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital. She was arrested in November 2022 during a search operation.
During the search of the woman's apartment, the following was discovered:
- 30 zip bags of methadone,
- electronic scales,
- cash,
- mobile phones.
The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. She has been informed of suspicion under part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to the illegal trafficking of narcotic substances.

The woman faces up to ten years in prison for her actions. At the same time, in other cases, a Kyiv resident has already been sentenced to more than nine years for illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances.
