A new type of ATB supermarket has opened in Kyiv: what makes the light gray different

The first ATB supermarket of a new experimental format has started operating in Kyiv. The store attracted attention with its unusual light gray facade and compact size. At the same time, the company assures that there are currently no fundamental differences from other stores in the chain. This was reported by Novyny.LIVE.

New ATB supermarket in Kyiv: where the 'gray' store opened

The first store of the new format opened on July 15 on Mashinobudivna Street, 27 in Kyiv.

The main feature is the light gray facade instead of the usual blue or black colors used by the chain. The new supermarket also has a smaller area than most standard ATB stores.

After the opening, speculations began to appear on social media that the new format differs not only in appearance but also in the range of services.

How does the 'gray' ATB differ from regular stores

There was information circulating in the network that the new supermarket could have additional zones with coffee, fresh pastries, pizza, hot dogs, a gastronomy area, and self-service checkouts.

However, the ATB press service explained that there are currently no such fundamental differences. According to company representatives, the store operates under the standard model, and changes mainly concern the size of the premises and new design decor.

The company also reminded that this is not the first experiment with the appearance of stores. Previously, the chain already opened supermarkets with a green facade.

ATB emphasizes that the new format is open for testing. If it shows good results, compact light gray stores may appear in other cities of Ukraine.
