According to Главком: A 58-year-old woman suffered a serious gunshot wound to the abdomen in Kyiv’s Pechersk district after a local resident accidentally fired his shotgun while trying to fix it. The incident occurred at the parking area of an apartment building when the man’s shot struck a metal roller shutter, with pellets penetrating it and hitting the woman, causing a penetrating abdominal injury, internal organ damage, and internal bleeding. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

The shooter was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
